Extraordinary artists are regular guests at Künstlerhaus Mousonturm with dance and performance productions. Why not take advantage of this presence to invite these guests to teach a master class and thus also give dance students, dancers and choreographers a chance to practically experience their work? Since fall 2006, Tanzlabor_21 has been offering open master classes in cooperation with Künstlerhaus Mousonturm and the Education Department Contemporary and Classical Dance (ZuKT) at the University for Music and Performing Art, which offer insight into the methods and artistic activities of various choreographers.
As an addition to the current program, Tanzlabor_21 has planned a special workshop series in 2011 for dance makers on the subject of production management, press and public relations, writing about dance, as well as transition.
